About Doucet’s Landscaping

Our History

Founded in 1967 by brothers Alvin and Howard Doucet, Doucet’s Landscaping began as a small family business with big dreams. The businesses grew steadily, and Ronnie Doucet, another brother, joined the company in 1971. This period marked a pivotal moment as the company took on many significant projects, including the installation of water and sewer lines in Parkwood Heights and construction contracts with Brunswick Zinc Mines, solidifying our reputation as local experts. The team of brothers grew again in 1976 when Cletus Doucet came aboard.

The following decades saw continued growth for Doucet’s Landscaping. By 1989, the total value of our equipment had grown to $4 million, and our businesses would take on several monumental projects, including the successful development of the Gowan Brae Estates, heavy involvement with Caribou Mines, and joining the Road Builders Association, where Alvin proudly served as president. Our commitment to excellence continues to shine with large-scale contracts, such as the 2015 CN Rail project and our work with Pabineau First Nation in 2021.

In 2022, we proudly passed the torch to the next generation, ensuring the company’s legacy of family-driven success will continue for years to come.
